My name is LaToya Roux.  I am a blend of European and African bloodlines, a Creole New Orleanian, currently living, loving, and stewarding within the lands of both the Muskogee Creek (Atlanta, Ga) and the Chitimacha (New Orleans, LA) peoples.  While New Orleans is where I was raised, I chose to move to Jamaica at the age of 18.  This move was a rite of passage for me and represented my first turning.  I love to sing and dance.  I find steady awe from the ocean; I join her in ceremony at least yearly.  And I love running my fingers through the rich, dark, fertile soils of the lands that grew me. 


I began candle crafting as a part of the inter-dimensional healing journeys I would hold for myself and others.  This craft is gifted to me Oracularly, shown and taught to me by the voice of my Soul, the elements, and many guides.  What began as a highly personalized form of medicine making, crafted during individual energywork sessions, evolved into what you see today...a voice of gnosis, a core devotional value, archetypal-elemental-etheric energies of the sacred and mundane being given a vessel in the form of a candle, an altar, an incense, an essence, etc. interwoven with prayers, love, and time honored, soul surrendered, sensorial attunement.  


The feeling of separation, numbness, and "memory loss" of big parts of my life has been the blessing and curse that has been a driving force to find healing, and frankly to find God, for as long as I can remember. I continually avow myself to the path of my Soul's work in this lifetime as a way to provide for and maintain an ever more fluid circuitry of communion with my Oracle and womb, the feminine & masculine faces, voices, and textures of God - that they may have a vessel through me to bestow a love frequency upon us that we have only dreamed is possible.

I am a crafter of sacred ritual tools and ceremonial healing spaces that serve as doorways for gnosis of the devotional feminine body and voice. I steward personal prayer vigil spaces for tending the liminal passage of our Souls voice in deeper communion with our Earthwalk.
